2010 Guide to the Go Go Bar Dancing Scene
The Go-Go scene in chiang mai is a lot different than what it is in Bangkok. There are only a handfull fo go-go bars to go to and the quaility of them is nothing like what you'd see in Pattaya or bangkok, or let alone USA. Don't expect to much dancing going on in the club and don't expect the dancers to be that energetic either. You see the go-go dancer while they do make a decent thai salary arn't there to dance, their there to be fined and taken away to the love chalace. 90% of the girls in the go go bar are available to be fined, just don't expect to be worked up first.

Foxy Lady
Probably the best Go Go Bar in chiang mai, though honestly there is only a handful. The place always has a broad range of Thai Bar Girls. If someone asks to buy her a drink and she is ok, you may as well, you'll be shunned and noone will talk to you otherwise and that's the whole point right.
Spotlight Bar
47 Kotchasan Road, This is one of the older go go bars in chiang mai, lots of dragon ladys, over priced drinks and not much in the way of shows.
Adam's Apple
Adams apple go go bar is as it suggests a male only go go and revue site. They have nightly shows that will get your blood steaming. Recently remodelled, is the place to be seen. 1/21-22 soi viangbua, chothana rd, santitham chiangmai 50300 phone 053-220380
Star Six
This used to be a raunchy go go bar but now has a mixed reputation. There are some stunningly beautiful girls in this place bar fine is pretty standard last we heard it was 500 the ladies ask for 1500 but you can get by with 1000 as long as you don't look too much like a mug. There is an entrance fee of 150 baht when you get to the scary low lying stairs, this includes a drink and they have a show at the time of this writing started at around 10pm. Standard patpong go go bar stuff. Worth a look if your going to them all.
